CASE Study #110

I haven't been using background papers lately, but this inspiration card from CASE Study's muse, Torico, prompted me to get out the Tim Holtz stash.

This is my take on Torico's card:

Now that I look at them together, it's a pretty straightforward CASE, but I'm happy enough with it.  The background paper, although it has plenty of pattern on it, looked a bit flat so I set to with a white gel pen and coloured in a few flourishes.  Then a few more...  Then the flower...  Then the hearts on the butterfly wings...

The flower stamp was a freebie from a craft magazine.  The butterfly and Best Wishes are from Penny Black Gratitude 30-105.  The dies were Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Nine.

  1. Wonderfully accented with the white gel pen. It really brings out the pattern in the paper!
