The challenge at The Paper Players is to make a romantic card. What's more romantic than an engagement?
The challenge at CASE Study is to case this card by Amber Kemp-Gerstel:
And the challenge at One Layer Wednesday, hosted this week by Cheryl, is to use hearts on your one layer card. Seeing as it's a new year, Cheryl has asked what our new year's resolutions are with regard to crafting. Last year, my new year's resolution was to buy clear stamps over wooden stamps for obvious storage reasons. I blew that out of the water right at the end of the year in the post-Christmas sales. I don't think I'll make any resolutions this year...
The hearts are from Printworks Q012 Always & Forever, stamped in Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid, and the sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.
Beautiful - simple layout but extremely effective one-layer card!
ReplyDeleteShirley, I love the simplicity of the layout. It's a great CASE of the original card. I love that you masked the area for the sentiment, too. Fabulous. So glad you shared this "love"ly card with the Paper Players this week

ReplyDeleteLove the masking! Great idea to use different colors with the words of the sentiment. Love it (how appropriate considering the hearts!)
