Hello Baby

I'm playing along with CASE Study today where the inspiration is provided by Danielle Flanders with this beautiful card:

When I was making the butterfly card the other day, I stamped off the remaining ink onto a spare card, and I've used this for the banner and hearts.  I used a negative of the die cut as a template for placing the banner string and flags.  Didn't stop me from sticking a couple down in the wrong order, though, but fortunately I managed to fix it without ruining the card.

The little asterisks are stamped directly onto the base card, and the hello baby is stamped with Memento Summer Sky directly onto the vellum.  The vellum, which I've had for years, has gorgeous little mica dots in it.

I'm also entering it into Winnie & Walter, Join In To Win:

Asterisks: Hero Arts CL136 Birthday Messages
Hello baby: Winnie & Walter The Big, The Bold and The Happy
Heart dies: Sizzix
Banner Die: Simon Says Party Banner S117

  6. Amazing how fast you can shift gears...from a grunge tag to a beautifully soft & subtle baby card! The stamping (on both sides of the gorgeous vellum) looks so pretty! Nice save on the wrong order 'sticking' episode...it would have been a shame to have this pretty ruined!
