Catching Up On Homework

I was too busy planning and partying last week and neglected my Online Card Class homework, so now I'm playing catch-up with a couple of cards.  This first one is for the Optical Illusion class.  Having masked the centre circle, I stamped the larger flowers in Memento Angel Pink, then masked and infilled with the smaller flowers in Rose Bud and the leaves in New Sprout.  I scribbled outlines around the leaves and flowers with a 0.005 black pen, then scribbled a border around the card, and stamped a sentiment from one of the Subway Art Builders sets (details below).

I'm also entering it into this week's CASE Study, where muse Joni has provided this gorgeous card:
And CAS(E) This Sketch:

This next card is for the Backgrounds Into The Foreground class (graffiti stamping), and I'm also entering it into the Winnie & Walter Playdate No. 1 and Join In To Win challenges:

I've used the colours in order of the family's tops, highlighting one word on each row to say "Happy Birthday To You", and overstamped with the lovely big Happy in corresponding colours.

  2. I love the way you doodled around the flowers and the card. It adds so much whimsy. I also love the idea behind the second card. I may be CASing that soon.
