Watercolour Homework: A Flower - Or Two

Some homework for Days 3-4.  I used an acrylic block for the background, then inked up my flower stamp with markers.  I'm entering this into Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Spring Flowers.

And also into Keep It Simple: Watercolour - it's a busy challenge, coinciding as it does with the Online Card Class.

I made another version of the card, this time using Wida's card at CASE Study as inspiration.  I wanted to do a one layer card so I kept the background drier so that it was more speckled, which also mimicked Wida's background.  The yellow didn't show up as well as I'd hoped so I took a fine liner pen (0.005) and drew an outline around the flower.

Here's Wida's card:

I'm also entering this into One Layer Simplicity Challenge: Fabulous Flowers.

    1. Hi Elke, it's a Penny Black Brush Strokes stamp, and it appears to be still in stock, so your local PB supplier should be able to get it for you. Here's the link.

    2. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly, Shirley! The suppliers that are listed are either out of business, or do not carry this stamp any more. Any other suggestions?
I realize I am asking for a lot, and understand perfectly if that is all you can do.
Thank so much in any case.
