This card was going to be a tag, but I decided the proportions were too large for a tag, and made a card instead. The cone stamp wasn't inky enough on the first stamping and came out a bit patchy, so I re-inked and lined it up carefully to re-stamp, and of course was slightly off. So I stamped off all of the cones to look the same.

The pine cones look great double stamped! Don't you just love when a wonky stamped image can be rescued without having to start fresh - great save! Love the muted/earthy colors of the pine wreath and the cones.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty wreath! I like the offset stamped pinecones--it was definitely meant to be!
ReplyDeleteSerendipidity! I love the colours and the layout of the card. Great case too.
ReplyDeleteGreat case, and isn't it wonderful how little 'mistakes' end up actually doing something good, like making the pinecones (LOVE them, by the way) look 3D!
ReplyDeleteSweet wreath! Love the little gingham bow at the top.
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed with the 'recovery' on the stamping ... this is just fabulous! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely wreath! Brilliant! Thanks for playing with us over at CASE Study! :)
