The starting point for this card was the colour scheme from The Play Date Cafe:
Cinnamon ... Squash ...Vanilla ... Sage
And the design inspiration came from November CASE Study muse, Angeline Yong:
And the challenge at Simon Says is:
GET IN SHAPE
Now, you couldn't call my card shapely (well, the hills are, but the card itself isn't), but fortunately the challenge is for any shape of card other than square. Good.
If you're still here, and you're looking for another challenge, guaranteed to keep you awake at night ;), hop on over to One Layer Wednesday challenge, hosted this week by Ardyth. This week's theme is Song in My Heart. Raid your CD stash, your iTunes library, or however else you store your music, for inspiration. You'll be singing 'em till the early hours - and when you can't sleep, make a card!
Wow Shirley! Ya did it again! Another triple all with home run possibilities!
ReplyDeleteOkay that sounded really sappy, but had to say it! This card is FAB-U-LOUS! Love how you moved the two trees from the start of the scene to the far end on the middle panel. That really created movement and captured the gorgeous curve of the die cut.
