I have three 21st cards to make, all for the same young man, and this is the first one. I've used the colours from colourQ's current challenge:
And the inspiration has come from this card by Julie Ebersole, guest designer for CASE Study:
And one of the current challenges at Moxie Fab World is to emphasise the negative, featuring in Card Creations, Volume 11.
It was a long time ago, but I don't recall there being anything negative about reaching 21!
Very cool, Shirley, perfect for a young chap! Aah yes, 21 ... age, waist size, volume on the stereo ... happy days! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteFirst time in your blog...thanks for the nice reminders or tips: use the negative, and make cards for young men...difficult task but well achieved...and I saw in another blog numbers...is this a trend? thanks for sharing

ReplyDeleteLol, no nothing negative about turning 21 but plenty about turning 55 as I just have!
xx
Love the perfect balance you have created on your card - the negative die cut, the sentiment and the bubblles (hic-up) are so appealing! Great colors too :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to combine all three challenges, love your grown up age card :0)
