I'm a bit last-minute with this challenge, because yesterday I decided (after months of thinking about it) to convert the spare (tiny) bedroom to a craft room, so while DH was out with the dog I set to with the hammer and screwdriver, dismantling a built-in bed, removing doors, etc. and by the time he got back the room was pretty much gutted. Paper Smooches: Bold Blooms, Sentiment Sampler
Delicious, Shirley, the colour on the bloom is gorgeous, almost texturey! How wonderful a whole craft room ... does the one thing at a time include an extension to fit in all your stash?? Anita :)
ReplyDeleteHa, ha! Lucky you. My hubby would sympathise. I've been thinking of using spare room upstairs, but it's impossible even with air-con in summer.
ReplyDeleteI love your card - very different colours - the blue frame is gorgeous and I love the neutral colour of the leaves.
The 'stitching' around the label has such a impact!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card!
Love the faux stitiching Shirley - beautiful use of the ColorQ colors! Love your "decorating" story! It will be so nice to have most of your stuff in one place.
ReplyDeleteAs far as DH goes....well I'm sure we all have our significant others on a "need to know" only basis...right?
The sticking and the simplicity of this one is amazing :)
ReplyDeleteOH WOW! You nailed this CASE Study-- love that frame and the misted flower!! THANKS so much for joining in the fun and playing along with the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge!! Hope you will play along this week-- it's a SKETCH:) <3
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous, love your flower! So happy you could join us at the ColourQ!
ReplyDeleteHi Shirley! I saw this in the CASE Study pool and had to come over and tell you it's lovely! The color combination and your layout equals CAS perfection :)
ReplyDeleteLovely card, Shirley, I love your flower! Thanks for sharing your card with us at the colourQ.
ReplyDeleteNow that sounds like some super fun news - does anything beat a new craft room? Hmmm, maybe some new furniture and baskets and shelves. And of course some new stamps. And dies.
