STAMPlorations Inspiration #300

Cake.  Because.  It's our 300th inspiration post at STAMPlorations, and that's definitely a reason to eat cake! (OK, so it's sundae, donuts and pie, but who cares?)

I've used Sugar Rush and Sweet Cravings to create this masculine card (I'm desperately short of cards suitable for men, so that should be my New Year's Resolution - make masculine cards!).

So to celebrate, you've got the chance to win a $25 prize code by commenting on the designers' posts and the main STAMPlorations post.  Pop on over, get commenting and good luck!

drumroll...

Michele Ferguson of I Card Everyone

(just shows you how random Random.org is!)

I'll be in touch with you Michele.  Thanks to everyone who played along while I was on elf duties.

STAMPlorations Inspiration #299

Hee hee :)

Here's my last STAMPlorations Inspiration Christmas card of the year for you.  When I shared this card,

my son and daughter-in-law reminded me of the next-stage pun, so I had to make today's card just for them.  In order to get the "No!" I masked off part of the 'Noel' word from Joy and drew in an exclamation mark.  I cut out some scarves from red card.

Pop on over to the STAMPlorations blog for more inspiration from the team, and don't forget to comment for a chance to win a $15 prize code.

There's a storewide sale on throughout December with an instant 15% off, but if you use my code STAMPGIRLSHIRLEY it will overwrite the 15% and give you 20% instead - yay!

I'll be back on Christmas Eve with a Christmas Spotlight post, see you then!

STAMPlorations Inspiration #298

Time for more inspiration from STAMPlorations, and today I've got the cheeky elf for you.

I stamped him twice on spare card then coloured and cut him out.  I colour washed a panel with yellow and green, and added the diecut Christmas Tree #1.  Both sentiments are included in the set, Christmas Elf.

For this second card I stamped some baubles from Christmas Baubles in Brilliance Pearlescent Blue then added my elf and the diecut sentiment from Christmas Sentiments Phrase Dies.

STAMPlorations Inspiration #297

Hello!  It's time for another round of inspiration for you from STAMPlorations.

I took the holly sprig from the Christmas Baubles set and made a border by alternating the orientation of the stamping - good, innit?  I sloshed on some colour and splatters, and added a diecut Merry Christmas sentiment from Christmas Sentiments Phrase dies for a quick almost-one-layer card.

Pop on over to the STAMPlorations blog for some fabulous inspiration from the team, and don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win a $15 gift code to the store.

There's currently a storewide sale with 15% instant discount, but if you use my code STAMPGIRLSHIRLEY it will overwrite the 15% and give you 20% instead!  Yay!

Christmas Kickstart Challenge - Guest Elf

Woohoo!  I'm thrilled to be guest elf for the Christmas Kickstart Challenge where the theme is Peace on Earth. I've used my set, Layered Poinsettia to make this card:

The background is a mop-up panel of Distress Inks, then I've just stamped the images with Versafine Onyx Black - easy peasy!

I'm offering a Layered Poinsettia set to one randomly chosen winner who has commented on the Christmas Kickstart blog and my blog.

STAMPlorations Inspiration #296

Hello, here's another STAMPlorations Inspiration post for you, and as a bit of a change I've used one of the printables sheets from the Digi Store, Winter Journalling Cards.

Winter journalling cards they may be, but I think they make great card toppers too!  I just trimmed the image, matted it onto black card and added a black sentiment from the Christmas sentiments set, Joy.  If you turn up the volume on your computer, you can just make out some ghost stamping along the bottom of the card.  It actually dried lighter than I would have liked, but it's just about visible.

Pop on over to the STAMPlorations blog for some more fabulous inspiration from the team, and don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win a $15 gift code to the store.  Whenever you're shopping at the main store or digi store you can use my code STAMPGIRLSHIRLEY to get 20% off.
