STAMPlorations Inspiration #265

Hello, it's Inspiration Tuesday at STAMPlorations and I've dug deep into the stash to find this beauty. Dunno why I never made it into a card at the time.  I think I may have inked the back of the Rosebuds stamp, spritzed it them stamped onto the mixed media paper, then once it was dry stamped the image over the top and added some white pen highlights.  To make it into a card I die cut the edge with an Art Edges die and mounted it onto burgundy card.

Seize The Birthday - Food and Drink

It's a new challenge at Seize The Birthday and our theme is Food and Drink (but you can always just play along with the general birthday theme if you prefer).

I've got a little flow chart for you - I like the outcome whichever route you take :)

The glass stamp comes with two half-outline dies so that you can have a cutaway edge on the card, or you can use both dies to cut out a complete image.

Pop on over to the Seize The Birthday blog for some more fabulous inspiration from the design team and our surprise party guest, Stef Perry, then play along with us.

ETA: The stamps are by Crafter's Companion - Cocktail Time (glass stamp and dies) and Have A Gin (flowchart).  I think they may be discontinued but you could pick them up on eBay.

STAMPlorations Inspiration #264

Hello!  It's Inspiration Tuesday at STAMPlorations, and today I've pulled out another piece from my stash.  I made this a good while ago using Scribbly Splattery Grunge and Mixed Media Grunge.  I wasn't sure what focal element to use, as I didn't want it to detract from the riot of colour, so in the end I opted for a simple sentiment from Skinny Sentiments.

STAMPlorations Inspiration #263

It's Inspiration Tuesday at STAMPlorations, and today I've got another version of the tiered cake on a background I found in my stash.  Fortunately the green splatter area coincided with the greenery of the image :)

The stamp is from Deepti's Better Together set.

Seize The Birthday - Spring Fling

Hello, we've got a new Seize The Birthday challenge for you - Spring Fling!  Or Anything Goes if you prefer.

At the time of writing this post, the UK has just started its 'stay at home' phase.  Who knows what the situation will be when this post goes live.

I've been holding on to this gorgeous bird for ages, but it's time to set it free.  I diecut it from a Gelli Plate print that I made using lace, and I love the detail of the pattern.  The sentiment is from Uniko, and the leaf canopy from Altenew.

STAMPlorations Inspiration #262

Hello, and welcome to Inspiration Tuesday at STAMPlorations.  Last week I showed you a card using a Coffee Cup Silhouette diecut as a mask, today I'm using the actual diecut as the focal point.  I always love it when I get two cards out of one process.  The sentiments are from And Coffee.

Craft Stamper Take It, Make It

It's a new month, and a new challenge at Craft Stamper Take It, Make It.  As always, it's Anything Goes, but real stamping must feature.

I stamped this party girl (Zinski Art Set 42) on spare card, coloured and cut her out, then adhered her to a gelli plate print that's been in my stash for ages.  The black stamped patterns are from Tim Holtz.

The prize for one lucky randomly selected player is from Woodware:

And if your entry is chosen by the design team, it'll be published on the blog, along with a profile, and you'll get the chance to guest design in a future challenge.
