STAMPlorations Anything Goes January Challenge!

Hellooo!  After a hiatus while Shery was going through cancer treatment, STAMPlorations is back!  Baby steps at first, while we all get back into the swing of things, so we're starting off with a monthly Anything Goes Challenge.

I've used The Bee's Knees Groovy Platform Shoes, watercoloured with Distress Inks, and the smaller version from Groovy Shoes stamped in grey for the background.  I paired that with the CUTplorations Birthday word die, which I cut once in white and watercoloured to match, and once in black for a drop shadow.

We do hope you'll play along with us - there are prizes!

STAMPlorations Inspiration #366

Steppin' out in style with this card for my STAMPlorations Tuesday Inspiration post.  I used Groovy Platform Shoes, which is available in the Outlet Store if you fancy a bargain!

I stamped the image with InkOn3 Fade-Out ink, then watercoloured using Distress Inks.  I watercoloured an extra piece of card with the same colours and diecut the Birthday sentiment.

Hello, got some STAMPlorations Tuesday inspiration for you! 

I found this background in my stash - Distress Oxides over the Droplets stencil.  I love the feel of sponged oxides, so soft.  I turned it upside down because - well, just because.  The CUTplorations Bloomdala Bliss mandala makes a perfect doily for the sundae and macaron from Sugar Rush and the cup from Sketchy Coffee Cups.

Hellooo!  Got some more STAMPlorations inspiration for you today, this time a Christmas card.  The stamped sleigh from Joyful was in my stash so I just coloured and fussy cut it.  Instead of diecutting the snow, I cut the sky using Stitched Snow Hills and adhered it to my card base and dotted some white Posca pen snow, then added the sleigh and a sentiment from Christmas Sentiments Phrase die set.

Hello, it's STAMPlorations Inspiration day, and I've got a quick and easy card made from bits and bobs.  The background panel is a Distress Ink mop-up piece, and I found this Stitched Winter Landscape diecut in my stash.  Stuck one on top of the other, mounted onto mirri card, then onto my card base, and it was done!

Christmas In The Air Kit #3

Christmas is in the air at STAMPlorations, and I've got a new stamp set out, called Winter Village, to go with Kit #3.  Also in the kit is a bell stencil, a CUTplorations phrase die and a pack of ephemera tiles.  

For my first card I stamped the image in Versafine Onyx Black, then watercoloured with Distress Inks and added snow with a white Posca pen.

For the second card I used the stencil and CUTplorations phrase die.

Hello, it's time for some STAMPlorations Inspiration.  I've got a card that came together very quickly, which was lucky as I'm on the last minute for this post!

I repeat-stamped Tea Blend Word Art on a mop-up background, and added the Coffee Cup Silhouette in a lovely pearlised gold card, and voila!

Hello peeps, it's time for some more inspiration at STAMPlorations.  After my playdate with Michele when we used Layered Citrus I had these three stamp-off panels left over.  

When I was cutting the Feel better soon phrase I was mindful of how the dies were placed so that I could use the negative on a future card.

And voila, a new card was born out of scraps.

STAMPlorations Inspiration #324

Hello, it's time for some more inspiration at STAMPlorations.  I'm still playing with the stamp set and die from Birthday Bundle #3.  I took one of the card fronts from the Spring Florals packs and simply stamped the Blossom Sprays #6 on the left side, diecut a panel with Art Border #3 down the far left, then added a strip of striped card on the inside so that it showed through.

STAMPlorations Inspiration #320

 

It's Inspiration Tuesday at STAMPlorations, and today I've got numbers mixed with psychedelia for you.  I used the Rolls standard stencil for my background, then cut the Numbers Plate die through the panel.  

I backed the die cut portion with black card to make the numbers stand out, and added a sentiment from Groovy Shoes, which fits nicely with the psychedelic theme, and mounted it onto orange card for a groovy look :)

STAMPlorations Inspiration #317

Hello, it's time for some more inspiration over at STAMPlorations, and today my inspiration was in turn inspired by Michele Ferguson's post where she made four cards from a split-4 design using my set Layered Poinsettias, proving that poinsettias aren't just for Christmas.  Actually, I've still got my Christmas poinsettia plant, which is thriving - I can't bear to throw away a healthy poinsettia.

I CASEd Michele in my post here where I used bright colours and a stamped sentiment, but this time I wanted to use blues and greens, and I also used dies for the sentiments instead of stamps.

Actually, the first card isn't one of the split-4, it's my stamping off panel for when I wanted second and third generation stamping on the split-4 sheet.  And like I say, I can't bear to throw away a healthy poinsettia ;)

Hello, and Happy New Year from the STAMPlorations Team!   I've got a New Year card for today's Inspiration post, made with a background using one of Sanna's stencils, Art Flowers 1.  It's actually a reverse mop up from a card I made for the launch of Sanna's stencil.

I diecut a hologram balloon using Shaker Balloons #3, and diecut the numbers from gold card using the Numbers Plate die, and cut a pelmet using the scallop edge die from ATC Tag Builder.

Hello! It's inspiration Tuesday at STAMPlorations, and today I'm using one of the new products released last week, the tall stencil Trees.  I drew inside the stencil with a black fineliner, omitting the leaves, then added some shading with a grey Tombow pen.  I added a stamped and die-cut Christmas Reindeer, and a sentiment from Joy.

STAMPlorations Inspiration #285

Hello, it's Tuesday so it's Inspiration day at STAMPlorations.  I'm going through a CAS phase at the moment, so you'll see a few CAS cards scattered amongst my splattery smooshy cards over the next few weeks.  Until I have another 'phase'!

I used the sundae image from Sugar Rush, which is now available as part of a digi set.  I coloured it, fussy cut it and then set it on a doily made with a die from Bloomdala Bliss Felicity.  The Mmmm... comes from my set And Coffee.
