It's Inspiration Tuesday at STAMPlorations, and I'm still in Christmas card mode (tbh, I'll be making Christmas cards right up to the last minute!).
I've used my Layered Holly set to make this one clean and simple one layer card, dead easy for the Christmas production line.

Hello! It's our last Seize The Birthday of the year, and our optional topping is a touch of red. Red being my favourite colour of wine ;)
I bought the die from the stamp show I went to in Australia, and the sentiment is from MFT. Pop on over to the Seize The birthday blog for some more touches of red from the team and from our surprise part guest, Annie.

* ONE (1) winner of $15 gift code drawn from comments left on the STAMPlorations blog, designers' blogs.
I found this stamped image in my stash. The sky was already coloured so I just added some Wink of Stella to the rooftops and some Frantage embossing powder to the ground. The Merry Christmas die is from CUTplorations Christmas Sentiments set.

And the winner chosen by the design team will have their winning project published in the magazine and on the blog, along with a profile. They'll also get a guest design gig in a future challenge.
For my card I used stamps from Funky Fossil. I don't often use two colours for my sentiments, but I really like it, so I'll have to do it more often!

Time for a new challenge at Seize The Birthday, and our theme this time is Off The Edge. If that's not your thing, you can still play along with any Anything Goes as long as it's birthday-themed.
I die-cut a balloon (Poppystamps), sponged it with distress inks then overlapped it on my smooshed background panel, trimmed it, then added a sentiment from Uniko.
Pop on over to the Seize The Birthday blog for some fab Off The Edge creations, and play along with us.

It's Inspiration Tuesday at STAMPlorations and today I've made a more masculine version of the Layered Cake Bake. The background is one of Helen's stencils (Make Marks 5), and I've stamped the image then fussy cut it. The chevron stamp is from Mixed Media Grunge, the letters are from Uppercase Alphabet Plate, and the number is from Sketchy Alphabet and fussy cut.
Pop on over to the STAMPlorations blog for some more fabulous inspiration from the rest of the design team, and don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win a $10 gift voucher. And if you are shopping in the STAMPlorations store, you'll get 20% discount if you use my code STAMPGIRLSHIRLEY.
