But I'll show you both the cards anyway, because I'm entering them into the Hero Arts competition for October.
This first one is still within the deadline for the Paper Players challenge. Not very Christmassy colours, you'd think, but I like using non-traditional colour combos.
And this is the card that missed the colourQ deadline. Again, you wouldn't necessarily think Christmas with these colours (especially with the witch's hat as a visual).
The bauble stamps are Hero Arts LL947 Decorative Ornaments Fancy Notes, and the sentiment is Hero Arts F3682 Christmas Wishes.
I love your baubles - they look magical in the 'hallowe'en' colours - and the sentiment matches perfectly! I agree with you about making Christmas cards at every opportunity - especially at this time of year!
ReplyDelete*non-traditional*, ...but how gorgeous!! Sometimes a little change makes great effects...
ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas cards - ultra stylish designs both of them :) x
ReplyDeleteLove the non-traditional Christmas colors! Isn't it frustrating when something goes wrong (especially when a deadline is looming).
ReplyDeleteGreat Christmas cards--I love how the design really lets the baubles stand out! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteNeat cards Shirley. I really like them. Vx
ReplyDeleteBoth are cute...an interesting way to use both the challenge palettes! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players this week with your creation! And the ColourQ!
