The cue word at CASology this week is UP.
I've used the colours from this week's challenge at ColourQ. It's given me an opportunity to use my Hint of
The challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More is Addicted to CAS (anything goes as long as it's CAS).
So here's my little birdie feeling sorry for itself.
My dog is also feeling sorry for herself. She dislocated a toe while chasing a stick before Easter and she's been strapped up and splinted ever since. Fortunately she's not interested in chewing the strapping so she doesn't have to wear the cone of shame any more.
Oh my - love the shakiness of the image and sentiment - this poor birdy definitely needs to chirrup! Your dog looks lovely (never heard of one dislocating a toe! oh my! hope she's feeling better!). Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteLove this Shirley - so original and made me smile.
ReplyDeleteAww, hope your lovely dog is better soon.
xx
Oh so cute...the card AND the dog!
ReplyDeleteLove the sunny bright card, so cute and he really needs some time to mend!
ReplyDeletethe cone of shame!! lol poor thing!! Love your sweet card! the font is so cool! so glad you joined us at the colourq!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful dog, Shirley! I saw a dog yesterday that had on a soft "cone of shame," like a floppy sun bonnet. It was still pretty shameful, true, but somehow an improvement. I had another "why didn't I think of that" moments! Anyway, I'm sorry about the toe. It's a wonder it doesn't happen more often. We are dog-sitting the granddog again this week and he keeps falling down on the wooden floors. He's like a small colt. I prolly shouldn't let him drink from my vodka.
ReplyDeleteJust kidding! Like I would share! Your card is the best "cheer up" card I've seen in ages. It would defo cheer someone up!!
Shirley, what a sweet "cheer up" card! I love that chick and the fun font of the sentiment...such cute images! Hope your sweet dog is getting better, poor thing! Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!
