Fashion Design Week

First of a couple of posts today.  This one is for the weekend challenge for World Cardmaking Day over on the Mixed Media Mojo blog,

and it's also for the monthly challenge there, Halloween or Fall colours with a twist of fabric.

I'm also adding it to Simon Says Monday Challenge, Finishing Touch.

I masked off everything around the raincoat, sponged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink, then stencilled over using Vintage Golden Green gilding wax.  Then I masked off the raincoat and sponged Dried Marigold around the CityGirl, stencilled more flowers onto the background, then squiggled over them with a fine black pen (0.1).  Stamped the sentiment, stapled the fabric square then decided to add "fabulous" and drew arrows from the fabric square to the raincoat.  (That fabric square was my piece of curtain from my Sing-along-a Sound of Music earlier in the year.  I knew it would come in handy for something!)
