Here's Lookin' At You

I've not been playing in many challenges lately, been a bit busy with my new stamp release.  But I did find time to play with some new Jane Davenport stamps.  I'm entering this first card into a new-to-me challenge, The Library Challenge, where each challenge is inspired by books.  This week's is Memoirs of a Geisha Girl.  I think you can see where I got my inspiration ;)

The smaller Jane Davenport face stamps are perfect for 'selfie' cards.  I added a mirri smartphone diecut (Kelly Purkey - maybe discontinued?) for a bit of shine, so it's going into Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Sparkle and Shine.  The tiara is a Crafty Individuals stamp and the patterned paper is from Craftwork Cards.

I've also been enjoying stamping, stencilling and doodling with the small Jane Davenport faces in my journals, so this next one is going into Simon Says Monday Challenge - Let's Doodle.

I doodle-stencilled the flower, then doodled the hair and around the stencilled word 'found'.  Here's a close-up.

I think I need to play some more ....

  1. What a bunch of great creations . The top one is a fabulous take on the book cover and I'm so glad you've found the challenge. (Challenges last for 3 weeks but are posted fortnightly - the most recent is 101 Dlamations - maybe you have something spotty or doggy to enter?) Thanks for joining The Library.
