Seize The Birthday - Stripes


It's a new challenge at Seize The Birthday, and our optional topping is stripes.


I'm well into stripes at the moment - if you follow my blog and/or Instagram, you may have noticed ;)  I've been sloshing Distress Reinkers of various colours across card panels, not bothering if they're accurately spaced, or even straight!  (You can get away with anything in the name of art.)

The stamps are from my latest release, Layered Watermelon, which launched this week.

    I am so fascinated with your carefree stripes. The watermelon is a great addition to the front and the sentiment brings it all together. Marvelous.

    Shirley I LOVE this card! The colors, the stripes, the coloring of the melon slices.. all of it. And I could take a lesson from you, just "sloshing" your stripes, lol!
