STAMPlorations Inspiration #267

Hello, it's Inspiration Tuesday at STAMPlorations, and today I've got a mixed media card for you.  I started off by stencilling clear paste through the Tribal Triangles stencil, then once it was dry I sponged Distress Inks over. The inks didn't blend very smoothly on this particular card, and it had a mottled appearance, so I embraced that by spritzing all over with water and lifting more of the ink for a definite mottled look.

Using a variety of stamps from Mixed Media Grunge, Scribbly Splattery Grunge and Mixed Media Elements and the same ink colours, I stamped randomly over the panel.  Then for contrast, using Versafine Onyx Black I stamped Happy Birthday from Baa Baa, Mmmm from And Coffee and the circles from Art Marks 2.  My focal image is from Sketchy Coffee Cups.

Pop on over to the STAMPlorations blog for some more fabulous inspiration from the team, and comment for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the store.  And if you're shopping in the store, don't forget to use my code STAMPGIRLSHIRLEY for 20% off most items.
