Hello! we've got a new challenge for you at Seize The Birthday - Use A Frame, hosted by Ashwini.
I've used a hexagonal frame from my stash with a flower die, and leaf stamp and die from Altenew. The sentiment is from Stamps Away. The butterfly has been in my stash forever. I'm not 100% sure about the background text stamp, but I think it's PaperArtsy.
Take a look at the gallery where you'll find fabulous inspiration from our surprise party guests and the rest of the design team, and play along with us. If you don't want to include a frame, you can still play along with any birthday-themed project.
Shirley, love the words background to showcase your hexagon frame and that pretty flower. Lovely card. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Shirley. Love you yellow rose and hexagon frame. The test background looks great too.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing that caught my eye was that background. I love this sketchy look to it but that frame in gold is a beauty to hold that lovely yellow rose.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card, Shirley! I think the not so perfect text background was such a smart choice. I really love this!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty!!! Love the frame and that text background. Perfect backdrops for the flower!
ReplyDeleteYour text background looks amazing behind that gorgeous rose, perfect font with the sentiment too, gorgeous card, Cathy x

I do love the card as a whole. And each individual item too - the scripty background, the metallic frame, the combo of stamped and die cut flowers, and the sentiment too. Great card, Shirley!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely frame and I love how you positioned the flower on it. The script background goes perfectly. Great card.
