Hellooo! I'm so excited to let you know that I've got three new Bee's Knees stamp sets out with STAMPlorations - Layered Stars, Layered Poppies and Layered Mushrooms.
All three sets are designed as outline images with co-ordinating solid images, which intentionally do not match up - they're meant to give an artsy look and feel to your designs.
Layered Poppies
For my next card, I stamped the line images on white card in Versafine Onyx Black, (the leaves are from Layered Leaves) then stamped the block leaves in Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. After I stamped the block petals I spritzed with water to let the colour run slightly. I cut around the stamping and matted it onto green card. The sentiment is from Bloom Happy.
This third card uses the cupped poppy image with both co-ordinating solid images. The sentiment is from Skinny Sentiments.
For my second card I stamped the outline mushrooms in black, then stamped the solid images in Distress Inks, spritzing with water here and there. I fussy cut them all then clustered them onto my prepared background before matting it onto my card base.
And how about a new baby card? These were stamped onto white card and coloured with Zig real brush pens before adding to a kraft card base.
Layered Stars
For this vibrant card I used Catherine Pooler inks with the two larger solid stamps and the trio cluster, then overstamped them in black with the outline stamps. The sentiment is from Happy Birthday.
This second card uses the outline stars on a background made from PaperArtsy Infusions powders.
The large star is great for making a quick and easy bold CAS card - just stamp the solid star, overstamp with the outline star and add the word, and you're done!
