Woohoo! I'm very honoured to be guest designer for the fabulous CASology challenge blog this week after this card was selected as the winner for the Bird challenge.
For this week's challenge the cue word is
You may have heard my groan from all the way across the pond, as I don't have any - I mean ANY - school-themed stamps. After a few quick breaths from a brown paper bag, I trawled through my catalogue of stamps to see what I could utilise.
The ruled paper is from Papermania Happy Days Journalling Cards set
Stampington P2069 Large Wooden Frame stamped in Versamagic Jumbo Java
Hero Arts E1306 Best Wishes stamped in Brilliance Moonlight White
XO from Woodware FRCL069 Large & Small Greetings stamped with Colorbox Catseye Old Rose

ReplyDeleteChalk or the erasers themselves flew through the air in my memory! :) Like Ardyth said, though, these days teachers have their hands tied!

ReplyDeleteYou pulled it together with a plume and did a fantastic school card as guest designer. I love the blackboard and school paper ~ well-done!!
I don't remember chalk being thrown, but I do remember spending a LOT of time sitting in the hall by myself OUTSIDE the classroom!! Great, now I'll need therapy ...
Congrats on being guest designer. I love your creative thinking. The blackboard is fabulous, as is the whole card! Ann
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your guest designer spot! Wonderful, nostalgic card! I miss the "old fashioned" chalkboards--most of our schools now have dry erase boards. Not the same.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! Great card and your blogging made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteYour blackboard is fab, a great school inspired card. Ha, sometimes is wasn't the chalk that was thrown, it was the duster! xx
