One Layer Thanks
Here comes another one layer card. I feel like I'm stalking the new One Layer Simplicity Challenge, but I do like making one layer cards. But I don't think I'll be the record-holder, because I've just checked and see that quite a few of you are making multiple entries too. Just shows what a great challenge it is, and how much interest the revamped version is generating - 100 entries and counting!
For this one I inked up an acrylic block with Distress Inks then spritzed it before stamping the block straight onto the card. Once it was dry, I stamped the feathers and sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black.

ReplyDeleteThese distress ink colors really do make the awesome stamp shine! Love the off-center placement of the image, which is perfectly balanced by the sentiment! Another work of art that seriously needs to be framed and hanging on a wall :)
This is gorgeous, Shirley! It's hard to achieve so much dimension with a one layer card, but you did it! I love the color combo, too!
