STAMPlorations New Release - Big Dreamer

Welcome back for Day 3 of STAMPlorations Summer Release!  Today we're showcasing one of Shery's new sets, Big Dreamer.  I love those stylised flowers!

For my first card I made a Distress Oxide background inspired by Kelly Latevola, then stamped my images in black.  I added a smidgin of colour to the leaves, but left the petals as they were, and edged everything with a Tombow pen to help the images pop.  The die cut is also from the new release, and you'll be seeing more of them on Friday.

I think the sentiments on this set work perfectly for wedding cards.  I stamped the larger sentiment on a white panel, arranged all the hearts on an acrylic block and stamped those down either side, then joined them up with a black Posca pen.  A bit of sloshing and a grey shadow finish it off.

Pop on over to the STAMPlorations blog for some more fabulous inspiration from the team.  If you fancy your chances at winning this set or any of the sets we're releasing this week, all you have to do is leave a comment on every blog post throughout the week to qualify.  Commenting closes 23 July.

One winner will get a $25 voucher, another winner will get their choice of 1 stamp set and 1 die from this release.  In the meantime, if you can't wait, the stamps are in the store now and all stamps including the new release are automatically 10% off (no coupon needed), and if you use my code STAMPGIRLSHIRLEY you'll get an extra 20% off.  Go for it!

  12. I love your loosely watercolored images on both cards, Shirley. So creative the way you arranged your hearts and then connected with hand drawn lines. I agree, the set has the perfect sentiments for weddings and anniversaries, but also many other occasions too. TFS your creative CAS cards, my friend. Hugs.
