Seize The Birthday - Create A Scene

Hello, we've got a new challenge for you at Seize The Birthday - Create A Scene.  (Or Anything Goes with a birthday theme if you prefer.)

Just before the first lockdown, DS2 and his wife bought a caravan, then it languished on the drive for the best part of a year.  But fortunately their lockdown has finished, they are in the middle of summer, and they've been able to take their first trip in it.   So I made him a birthday card with a caravanning scene on it, colouring the caravan, parasol and picnic set the same as theirs.  I don't think they've got a hammock, but this might give them an idea ;)

I left the sentiment off in case they want to frame it and hang it in their caravan, ha!

The caravan and accessories are from Darkroom Door, the cloud is from Funky Fossil, the foliage is Tim Holtz.

Pop on over to the Seize The Birthday blog for some more fabulous inspiration from the design team, and from our surprise party guest, the lovely Carol from Just Me:C, and join us in the gallery.

  5. Great camping scene and definitely one that should be framed! My only camping experiences have been the 'uncomfortable' tent variety, and I put an end to those years ago. If we had a camper/caravan, I might change my mind about such adventures.
