Hello, and welcome to a new challenge at Seize The Birthday - Embossing, chosen by Barbara.
I went with dry embossing, using a Tim Holtz embossing folder and adding a Tim Holtz typewriter. The sentiment is from STAMPlorations.
Pop on over to the Seize The Birthday blog for a peep at some more fabulous inspiration from the rest of the Design Team, and our Surprise Party Guest, Vicki aka Crafting Clare, and join in with us. If embossing isn't your thing, you can still play along with any birthday-themed project.
Wow, that embossing folder is awesome! I have not seen that one and it fits perfectly with the typewriter! Wonderful card, Shirley!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Shirley. I like that embossing folder also and the typewriter die cut is perfect with it.
ReplyDeleteThat embossing folder is great, but I love what you did with the antique look. Great addition of the typewriter sending out the message.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun Birthday card, Shirley! That background is super cool and I love the greeting coming out of the typewriter! Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteWay to step up the texture from the embossing folder. I love how that background adds to half the impact in the card, but still doesn't take away from the focal. Awesome card, Shirley!!
ReplyDeleteI just want to touch this card Shirley! The happy birthday message in your typewriter really pops against that gorgeous textured background. Vicky x
