It's time for a new challenge at Seize The Birthday, and this time Cathy has chosen Number Crunching - Use a Number.
I made this for my sister's 70th birthday earlier in the year. The robin, pot, flowers and wall are all Tim Holtz, the numbers are Memory Box and the foiled sentiment is Spellbinders. (It's a good job I proofread this before posting - autocorrect had changed foiled to toilet 😂).
On our daily walks with the dog we see several robins flitting about between trees and fence posts, and we have a regular robin visitor in our garden.
Pop on over to the Seize The Birthday blog for some more fabulous inspiration from the design team and from our surprise party guests, and join in the fun. Play along with our Anything Goes theme if you don't want to use numbers. See you in the gallery!
Great card Shirley. Love the bird sitting on the flower pot and all the flowers around it. The embossed wall is a great background. Ha! Don't you love the autocorrect (not).
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty garden scene, Shirley! Love the robin and all those bright flowers! That auto correct can be very misleading! Thanks for making me feel so welcome at the party.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous garden scene Shirley, love how you've placed the flowers around the pot and sweet robin, bet your sister loved the card, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteLet me guess. She loved it! 'cause how could she not? I especially love that he's sitting on the toppled flower pot.
ReplyDeleteAwesome card, Shirley. I love the entire card, but especially how you've incorporated the number in there. So unique and special!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful card - I love how you put everything together. Great colours and textures. (and damn auto correct!)
ReplyDeleteShirley, this card is a beauty! My grandson and I were watching a robin last evening taking a bath in the backyard pond with a bubble rock, it was so entertaining! Your whole card is a beautiful picture of what can be seen if we take the time to look!
