Is It Christmas Yet?

It might not be Christmas, but it's never too early to start making your Christmas cards!  Each year I think I've made enough, but I still seem to end up in a race against time making the last few.  So this year, I'm determined to get a head start and make them throughout the year.

And what better challenge to play in than Muse Christmas Visions?  Here's the muse for this challenge:

Seize The Birthday - One Layer

Welcome to a new challenge at Seize The Birthday.  This time it's One Layer - scary for some, but I'm happy making one layer cards.  If it's not your thing, you can still play along with any birthday-themed project.

Ooh, I do like playing with these Jane Davenport stamps!  I used a very limited Distress Ink palette to watercolour, and a 0.5 fineliner to add a bit more detail.  The small sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.

I've used Dino Things and A Snarky Birthday To You to create this card, watercolouring and stencilling with Distress Inks.  I extended the balloon strings and snipped under his paw so that I could slide the strings under.

Craft Stamper Take It, Make It

It's our first challenge of 2018 at Craft Stamper, and as always, it's Anything Goes.

I've used a Kaisercraft image stamped onto a smooshed Distress Ink background with a bit of background stamping, and added a couple of Dylusions border stamps.

Seize The Birthday - No Topping

Hellooo, and welcome to 2018 at the Seize The Birthday Challenge!

We're easing you into the New Year gently - it's a No Topping challenge, yay!  Do what you like, as long as it's birthday-themed.

I've used Crazy Cats and Crazy Things by You-Know-Who, and a sentiment from Visible Image.  There's a strip of embossed silver card, and it's all mounted onto patterned paper.
