Anything But a Card

I've had this 3D photo frame lurking around for ages waiting for inspiration, and now the inspiration has arrived.  I cut a piece of white card to fit the back frame and stamped and coloured the cycling hedgie, then masked it.  I used Broken China and Peeled Paint Distress Inks for the background then stamped the sentiment.

I then stamped the elements for the front panel (small hedgie, flowers and dragonflies), cut these out, then placed them between the two panes of glass that make up the front section of the photo frame.

It was so difficult to photograph, because I'd cleaned all the glass and it was nice and shiny... so I kept getting reflections.  Finally got an angle without reflection, but it doesn't really show the 3D-ness of it.  Oh well.

All stamps from Penny Black 30-101 Hedgie Friends

I'm entering this into Belli Challenge #146 Anything But a Card and the Penny Black Art Extravaganza challenge via Flickr.
