I've been playing with Distress Inks again, this time to make a master board. I took an A4(European) sheet of card, sponged Distress Inks over it, then cut it into into 4 squares and 2 rectangles. On one of the squares I stamped the images and sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black, then sprayed a snowflake stamp with water and stamped it onto the panel. It was fairly wet so the first stamping was a bit blobby, but I like it. I stamped again without re-wetting and you can see in the bottom left corner how the purple ink was picked up from the centre stamping and laid down on the next stamping. I just continued like that on the panel, re-misting when necessary.
I'm entering this into Keep It Simple (a first for me) where the challenge is Snow,
CAS on Sunday where the challenge is Christmas,
Simon Says Monday Challenge, With a Flourish,
and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, Make Your Own Background (using Gelli plate or stencils if you can). Surprisingly, I didn't get the Gelli plate out for this one. But maybe there's still time...
