So, welcome to a new challenge at The Mixed Media Card Challenge. This month, it's Wings with an option of Foil. Our graphic shows butterflies, but you could use birds, dragonflies, planes, fairies - anything with wings.
I've been on a die-buying frenzy, and this bird on a branch die was top of my list. I cut it from watercolour paper, and coloured it with Distress Inks. On a separate piece of watercolour card I sloshed some Warm Honey, then once that had dried, stamped the sentiment (STAMPlorations Noteworthy), then added a little nest with strands of hessian, a piece of lace and some gold thread. I dotted some Liquid Pearls eggs in the nest, and some Liquid Pearls gumnuts on the leaf spray.
What will your interpretation of wings be?
Fabulous card with wonderful die cut dimension! Love your sunny background colors and the constructed bird's nest.
