Seize The Birthday - It's Just a Number

It's a new challenge at Seize The Birthday, and this time it's Just A Number.  If you haven't got a numbered birthday card to hand, you can still play along with any birthday-themed project.

I've used one of my all-time favourite Penny Black stamps, spritzing the first stamping, letting it dry, then re-stamping for a sharp image.  It's useful to have a stamping platform for this technique, but not essential as the first stamping becomes so blurred that it doesn't matter if the second stamping isn't perfectly aligned.

Pop on over to the Seize The Birthday blog for some fab inspiration from the design team, and our surprise party guest, SonjaK, and play along with us.

  1. I'm not surprised this is one of your favourite images, Shirley ... it's beautiful ... the glow from the spritzed stamping is gorgeous ... all delicate and ethereal. A beauty! Hugs, Anita :)

  5. A beautiful bouquet for this milestone birthday recipient, Shirley! It will be cherished! Thank you for the double-stamping idea! A slap-my-forehead moment as before the platform I would toss my too wetly spritzed images. Now I don't have to do that - YAY!! Hugs, Darnell
