Hello! We've got some gorgeous spring flowers for you at Seize The Birthday. The topping, chosen by TaeEun, is optional, so if you're not a flower person you can still play along with any birthday project.
My card is a complete CASE of Michele Ferguson's set of cards here. Michele used my set Layered Poinsettias to create one sheet of four card toppings, and they were gobsmackingly gorgeous! So I had to make my own set :)
I built up my masterboard in the same way Michele did.
Then chopped the sheet into four and added the Happy Birthday sentiment.
I used Distress Inks, which don't give as full coverage with solid stamps as other inks, but I like the grungy/distressy look. Next time I'll go for an even more distressed look.
Thanks for the inspiration Michele!
Now pop on over to the Seize The Birthday blog for some more fabulous inspiration from the team, and from our Surprise Party Guest, Lynda of Loopyloocards.
