Hello peeps, time for a new challenge at Seize The Birthday, and time to welcome our newest team member and my friend, Jenny Martin of My Paper Epiphany.
This challenge, set by Glenda, is Kraft and Red (but you could always play along with our Anything Goes theme if you prefer, as long as it's birthday-themed).

I used a couple of flowers from Tim Holtz Abstract Florals set and coloured them red with Tombow brush markers, and added highlights with a white Posca pen. The sentiment is from TH Glorious Bouquet.
Pop on over to the Seize The Birthday blog for some more fabulous Kraft and red inspiration from the team, and from our surprise party guests, and play along with us.
I am loving this abstract flower that you have colored so well. I love the contrast of the white pen. A fantastic detail.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the drama of the bold flower and the Tombow markers worked so well on the Kraft card!
ReplyDeleteLovely card Shirley. Love your red blooms. I think several of us thought of red flowers on kraft.
ReplyDeleteYour white pen really sets off this design as does the offset of the panel.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous artsy design Shirley, the white highlights really pop, so effective, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful red floral that is very artsy looking. So pretty, Shirley
ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeous! I love the flowers and they look great set against the simple kraft cardstock. Great card, Shirley!
ReplyDeleteThis is so so so awesome Shirley! I love colouring on kraft and you chose the best flowers for that. The white accents are just perfect.
