Kookaburra Birthday
It's Inspiration time on the STAMPlorations blog today. My kingfisher from The Bee's Knees SmallBirds is masquerading as a kookaburra today. The background is a Tim Holtz stencil with clear embossing paste, then sponged with various shades of Distress Ink. I added a scribble of gelato around the edges and a sentiment panel from Party Time, then matted it onto chocolate coloured card, then onto the white base card.
Pop over to the STAMPlorations blog for lots of inspiration from the team. If you feel like CASE-ing this, or any of the other cards you see from the team, why not add them to the CASE playground for chances to win?

ReplyDeleteMy goodness, Shirley. Can you just make something FOR ONCE that doesn't make me feel like a second-rate crafter? ;)
ReplyDelete"Kookabura" is such a fun word! Awesome card, awesome colors!
ReplyDeleteKeeping my comments brief is my new "SITS" (Summer Is Too Short) commenting mode which means I will be spending more time outside than in! Plus...I'm so far behind in commenting that if I didn't do this, it will be winter by the time I get caught up!
You know that a Kookaburra is in the Kingfisher family! Pure awesomeness as always!
