STAMPlorations Release - Llama Tell You by Becca Cruger

Have you seen Becca's fabulous new stamp set at STAMPlorations?  It's called Llama Tell You, and it has some great images and sentiments, look:

I coloured this guy with pencils, fussy cut him then mounted him onto black card, which was mounted onto patterned paper, which was mounted onto black card.  I used a die cut for the sentiment.

For my second card, I added a bit of colour and shading to the llama then fussy cut her, and place her so that she's peeping over the hill.  The background is a mop-up from Sanna's stencil.

The upper part of the llama image isn't attached, and I've curved it forward a little so that it's a bit more in-yer-face.  See?

Craft Stamper Take It, Make It

A new month, a new Craft Stamper Take It, Make It challenge, and as always, it's Anything Goes.

I've used Concord & 9th's Plaid Background with Distress Oxides, leaving gaps in the inking to give it a grungy, tattered appearance.  I also scuffed the edges of the panel to emphasise the grunginess.

STAMPlorations Inspiration #160

Welcome to Inspiration Tuesday at STAMPlorations!  This week we're featuring Shery's stamps, and there's 15% off (no coupon needed).

I found this piece in my stash - I'd stencilled clear paste through Just Squares stencil and sponged and splattered Distress Inks, so all I needed to do was stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment and a few cupcakes (from the top of the Sketched: Birthday Cake).

Watch The Birdies

Ive finally got round to playing in Darnell's new challenge, Twofer.

I almost played last week.  I had the cards ready, photographed, blog post half-written (I was going to use my STAMPlorations Spotlight post), when I realised my cards were actually flowers, not feathers.  So here I am, with some feathers (and the attached birds).

I made a baby girl card (there's the chick balancing on mum's head), and

a get well card.  Just sloshed some Distress Inks around then mounted the panels onto base card.  I'm also playing along with this card at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Add A Sentiment.

I've been watching Sir T!m's sneak peeks and Creativation videos, and my credit card is groaning.  Already I can't live without the glass craft mat...
