A Thank You Rose

Another new stamp in the post-Christmas sales.  Reduced from £9.99 to £1 - look how much money I saved!  On LOTS of them ;)

This rose image is quite versatile.  I've already made birthday cards with the rose in various colours - pink, red, peach.  And it makes a really elegantly understated sympathy card when stamped in pale grey.  But I'm not showing you that yet, you never know when it might meet the criteria for a challenge.

So, this version is coloured with Tombows directly onto the stamp, then spritzed from a great height (ok, from about 2 feet) to get a water droplet effect, then stamped onto white card, and mounted onto base card.  Easy peasy.  The image stamp and sentiment stamp are both Penny Black.

The challenge at CASual Fridays is to make a CAS thank you card.

  8. Beautiful in its simplicity! And what a bargain, although I don't know the conversion in USD. But going down from 99 to 1 is definitely a savings!

  17. The water droplets add such a wonderful detail to this stamp, just like drops of dew on a flower. Very soft and pretty! Thanks for sharing this with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
