H is For ...

... Hundertwasser!  I've been finding inspiration in architecture, artists (some of whom are also architects), and art in general lately and for the next few Wednesdays I'm doing a little series over at STAMPlorations with the cards that I've made.  This is today's card:

Click on over to the STAMPlorations blog to see the full post with a step-by-step on how I made the card and which stamps I used.

I'm entering this into Simon Says Monday Challenge, H is for....

and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, All Things Bright and Beautiful.  Well, it's certainly bright!

  1. Shirley, what a wonderfully informative, creative post! I'm thrilled with your Wednesday focus on architecture, artists or art styles; based on this first showcase, we are in for some incredible inspiration. Your card:every stage along the way is fascinating. You've translated Hundertwasser's fluid, natural forms landscape into a stunning card. In awe...

  2. OOH, I've been there! I love how you interpreted this - it's also somewhat Suessian, but I bet Hundertwasser and Suess had a lot in common!

  7. Oh yeah! Love this. Fabulous design. I need that stamp set. Can't wait to see the others. Reminds me of a card I made for a submission which was inspired by a plate in a shop window. Gotta find and post it just for you...
