Happy New Home

I'm playing along at Less Is More, where the challenge is a one layer card, and the theme is 'Home'.  I've used the little cottage from The Bee's Knees Houses, and the fence, gate, path and trees are from a co-ordinating set called HousesExtras, which will be released next month.

It's a cold day here, despite being the middle of summer, so I've drawn in a little plume of smoke.  English cottages always have an open fire going, whatever the weather!

  1. I love your little scene, Shirley, the sketchy images look great. And it's amazing how different the weather can be in different parts of the UK, down here in the south west I had to slap on the sun cream today! Sending sun rays to you.
    Thanks for sharing with us.

  7. On our first (official) day of summer, it's really nice here. Not too hot, not too cold. What a sweet little cottage, complete with it's gate and sweet tree. Love this card, Shirley! Really feels like home. Bev

  8. How can anything get any cuter than this card? Makes me want to walk up the path and enjoy a nice cup of tea with whoever lives inside!
