Get Well Spring Flowers

A bit of artistic licence with this card, because I don't think you'll find many blue-leafed plants IRL!  But I wanted to use these stamps from Paper Smooches for their Anything Goes challenge,

and I wanted to use this colour scheme from ColourQ's latest challenge:

The cue word at CASology is

The challenge at A Blog Named Hero is to add glitter, shimmer, shine or bling

And last but certainly not least, the challenge at One Layer Wednesday, hosted this week by Susan, is Spring is Sprung.

I added a faux-stitched frame around my flowers and sentiment by paper pricking then joining the dots with a 0.05 pigment liner.

  1. I was sure you had machine sewn the border and was thinking that it must been a pain to do. Your technique is perfect! Blue leaves work for me, too! So glad you joined in on the fun at CASology this week!
